Orthodox Jewish man in Brooklyn claims to be ‘knockout’ victim
NEW YORK (WABC) – A 28-year old man is under arrest, accused of attacking an Orthodox Jewish man in Brooklyn who claims he is the latest victim of the so-called ‘knockout’ game.
The attack happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday on 18th Avenue and East Second Street in Borough Park, and the suspect, 28-year old Amrit Marajh of Brooklyn, has been charged with harassment as a hate crime.
Members of the Orthodox community gathered outside the 66th Precinct, and said they are thrilled about the arrests.
